Hosting

The pages are delivered through grok.me (xAI). Data may be processed in the United States. The host processes the usual connection data: IP address, date and time, the page you open, and the browser type. That is required to deliver the site and to spot abuse. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Logs are kept only as long as the host needs them for operation and security.

Visit and play counts

The site counts visits and clicks on Play: one visit per browser per day, and every time a game is started. A code in the address, such as ?ref=x0730, is counted with that visit; otherwise it is stored as “direkt”. Only those totals are stored: overall, per day, and per code. The counter does not store a name, email address, or IP address. The browser keeps the date and code of the last visit locally, so a reload is not counted again. The language choice stays in the browser as well. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Those local entries can be deleted in the browser settings.

BlockFit

BlockFit runs on blockfit.grok.me and is covered by these notes.

As a guest, your progress and settings stay in your browser only.

Signing in with X is optional. From X we receive your name, your handle, your profile picture, and your X ID. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

On the leaderboard, handle, profile picture, score, and date are public. They stay stored until you delete your entry or ask for deletion by email at [email protected].

The share button opens X with a prepared text. X’s own notices apply there.

The winner’s X handle is used to hand over the prize and may be named in a post on @BtcWallpaper and in the challenge archive at /teilnahmebedingungen. On request we remove it from the archive. The notice is sent by X direct message.

Profile on X

Follow opens the profile on X. X’s own notices apply there. These pages do not embed content from X or YouTube.

What we do not do

There is no newsletter, and the counters are not shared with ad networks. Personal data is not sold. An account exists only in BlockFit, and only if you choose to sign in with X.

How long data is kept

Counter totals stay while the website is online. Entries in the browser stay until they are deleted. The host sets the retention of server logs. How long leaderboard and challenge data stay is described under BlockFit.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, and portability. You can object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. An email to [email protected] is enough.

You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For Hamburg that is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Ludwig-Erhard-Str. 22, 20459 Hamburg, Germany, datenschutz-hamburg.de.
